My favorite part of blog 1 is finding evidence, linking the evidence in the blog with the knowledge we have learned. For example, in the second analysis I wrote, I found that the author used a lot of different types of evidence. I understand the benefits of different evidence from the book. When categorizing the different evidences used by the author, I really felt the benefits of this arrangement. The author used a lot of real data, which enhanced persuasion and appeal.
For my own blog, I will focus on intended readers and how I put the evidence that supports my argument. After this blog analysis, I deeply realized the importance of these aspects. They can profoundly change the expression of a blog. In the past, I did not blog from a reader’s perspective. Now I understand a lot of knowledge. For example, we need to put important things at the beginning so that our readers can absorb important information at first glance.In addition, for my blog, I should also pay attention to the fact that I have to think more about why I am writing this blog. The importance of purpose for a blog is obvious. It determines our motivation and content. I haven’t thought deeply about why I wrote this blog in the past. When I write a blog later, I will think more about the purpose of the blog
Conclusion
In this blog analysis, I learned a lot. I mainly choose some factors to analyze these blogs and find some evidence in the blog to correspond with what we have learned. The first is that I have a deeper understanding of 6 categories of rhetorical analysis and planning and 8 rhetorical features. Through reading, I understand what they mean. In the selected blogs, I mainly analyze based on the outstanding characteristics of each blog. For example, the integrated readers of the first blog and the evidence of the second blog. In the process of writing analysis, through the analysis of other people’s blogs, I can more specifically understand the benefits and advantages of doing so. Following the analysis of these factors, I realized the importance of these factors. For example, after I have completed the analysis of the integrated readers, I will also consider readers when I write blogs. This is very important to me because I have never considered my blog from this perspective.In more cases, we need to think about blogging from more perspectives. After completing the analysis, my perception of blogging became more comprehensive.
